THE STORY
From walk-on to the winning locker room
I grew up on Chicago's South Side and walked on at Illinois. I set an NCAA record, played 11 years in the NFL, and won two Super Bowls with the Broncos as the lead blocker for Jerome Bettis and Terrell Davis. For more than 19 years I've been a lead studio analyst at the Big Ten Network.
None of it came from the spotlight. All of it came from the work.
